It’s semi-easily avoidable, if you save and quit when this begins happening then upon loading back in, the game will run smoothly again.
Not at first though, the first time you boot into the game it runs as smooth as butter, but unfortunately it only takes a couple of hours before you see the screen-tearing coming in, frames dropping constantly and the music jittering and glitching out. I tend to try and avoid starting a review off on a negative (unless it is really bad), but Slime Rancher has one fundamental issue which can really make or break your experience when it comes to playing it the game lags. Now that we’re in something of a gaming drought in the long wait for The Last of Us: Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, I thought it was time to sit back and get farming those slimes. I personally never had a problem with vanishing slimes from my corrals so I don"t know if having 6 largos stuffed in one corral would be too much and you"d either lose some largos or they"d be roaming free around your ranch.From my experience 4 largos in a corral isn"t overcowrding them, and they all give out double plorts if fed their favorite foods, so I think eventually having 4 per corral would somewhat equal the same outcome of having 6 to a corral without any risks of them possibly escaping if they are pushed against the air nets.I don"t use autofeeders, but maybe try setting the auto feeders to the bunny setting, I think that"s the fastest setting it can be on.Good luck with whatever you choose to do :D Have fun and I hope your smiles are happy.Advertisements Slime Rancher is a game I have had my eye on for years, this cutesy resource management game has all the right ingredients for a fun time-waster but always cost a little too much for my liking. Less slimes would also help boost your performance, by the sound of it. The auto-feeder drops 6 per feeding time which is perfect, and they"re not too crowded. And I don"t even have any drones or transfer devices yet.Not looking forward to the quantum slimes, though. It gets a bit hectic at times and it takes a while to get to a point where you can plan a day trip away from the ranch but it is certainly doable and I give each slime their favourite food so it is sort of like keeping 5 or 10 Largoes. I have 10 of each pink, tabby, rock, phosphor, boom, honey, hunter, rad and crystal slimes.
